WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR DRIVING MOUNTAIN ROADS

It's not as simple as driving on any road when you are driving on a mountain road, different conditions, different obstacles. In fact there are so many additional things to consider when you drive on a mountain road that I'm creating a series of training style videos. These will help you understand what these are and how you can adjust your regular driving style so that you can become a safe driver, while still enjoying and loving the experience of driving those stunning and breathtaking mountain roads. Driving mountain roads is one of my favourite places to drive, and my go to place for driving in the mountains are the roads up in the Great Smoky Mountains, Moonshiner 28, Wayah Road, Tail of the Dragon, The Cherohala Skyway and the Hellbender are the main hot spots that drivers love to experience when visiting The Smoky Mountains. The Great Smoky Mountains is a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border. The Smokies are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. Established as a national park in 1934, this is the most visited national park in the United States, with over 11 million visits per year.
