SECOND PRIZE AT THE CHAGANGAS POZA FESTIVAL 2026 + MUSICALITY AWARD Txaranga Band Tocats The Txaranga Band Tocats began as an idea in 2007 when a group of friends spontaneously decided to go out and liven up a 24-hour futsal tournament. After performing a few times at local events, in 2009 they got serious, added some members, and decided to launch the project as Txaranga Band Tocats. Since then, they have performed extensively throughout Catalonia, as well as in Aragon, Andorra, and France. The music of Band Tocats has also been heard in Asturias, Andalusia, and Tenerife, where they participated in the Puerto de la Cruz Oktoberfest in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2025. Above all, Band Tocats considers themselves a group of friends who share an unabashed passion for music. Participating in a Band Tocats experience means experiencing music in a joyful and fun way. Their percussion section is characterized by its high quality, quickly getting everyone in the audience moving to the rhythm. Between 2012 and 2015, they were one of the resident bands at the PortAventura theme park, performing street music shows. At the 2016 National Charanga Festival in Poza de la Sal (Burgos), they won the Best National Charanga Award and the second prize from the audience, becoming the breakout act of the festival.
