Exploring Hidden Historical Gems and the Birthplace of Jackie Robinson - Cairo, Georgia 2024

Join me on a fascinating journey through Cairo, Georgia, as we explore hidden historical gems and the location of the birthplace of legendary baseball player, Jackie Robinson. Our adventure begins with the visit to a little - known location of a waterfall which was created by a sinkhole. It was a popular attraction back in the early 1900's. Then, we will explore briefly the historical downtown, which includes Cairo's beautiful courthouse and one of Georgia's oldest single - screen movie theaters still operating in the state. We also stop by a unique classic car display at the local Dodge dealership before heading out to Jackie Robinson's unique and unusual birthplace location. It is a tribute to the man who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier. The music I used in creating my YouTube Presentation, which was provided by the YouTube Audio Library, are American Idle by RKVC, Bach Cello No. 1, G Major, Prelude and Ode to Joy by Cooper Cannell and Spirit of Fire by Jesse Gallagher. I use my iPhone 14 Pro Max to film my experiences. Then I use the Wondershare Filmora 11 editing program to create my video presentation. I also use the fifine K678 microphone to record my voiceovers. Some of Jackie Robinson's Achievements: 1. Broke the Color Barrier in Major League Baseball.
