Diezel VH2 vs Friedman BE100 | RAW PLAYTHROUGH

High Gain playthrough of two of my absolute favorite amps at the moment. Trying to decide which one to keep. I'm currently recording a record and they both fit the bill. The amps were just shy of LOUD band practice volume in this clip, however, the master volumes on both of these amps work well and sound good even at low bedroom volumes. Diezel VH2: 0:00 Friedman BE-100: 4:11 Amp Impressions: The Friedman BE100 has been my go to live & recording amp for the past few years. I've owned the JJ100, Phil X, SS100, Smallbox, and a Friedman Modded Marshall 100W Plexi, but this BE100 has been my favorite of the bunch. The structure switch adds a ton of versatility to it. However, I sometimes miss the raw, impolite sound of a JCM800 or Peavey 5150. The Diezel definitely has that raw, pissed off kind of sound with a HUGE bottom end. I think the Friedman is a much more forgiving amp in that it has a lot of natural compression and filtering going on. The Diezel demands a bit more from the player in terms of tightness, but it pays off with a sound that punches you in the chest if you're in the room with the amp. Both ridiculously good amps.
