We had the CIF State D4-A Regional as Hillcrest and Beckman delivered an absolute SHOOTOUT that turned into one of the wildest games of the postseason!!! Hillcrest came out firing, jumping to an early lead and looking like they were about to run away with it. They were rolling on both sides, and their offense looked unstoppable early. But Beckman — led by #6 and #17 Makhi Czaykowski & Noah Nam — refused to let the game slip away. They clawed back, possession by possession, even while trailing most of the night. As the fourth quarter hit, everything flipped. Beckman’s playmakers took over, and QB #17 Noah Nam went NUTS — breaking plays, making huge runs, and leading the comeback charge. The Beckman quarterback was dealing too, keeping drives alive and putting his guys in position to take the lead. Hillcrest kept swinging though. #6 Hudson Nguyen was balling, #5 Amari Chappell was making plays all over the field, and the Wildcats looked like they were about to put the game away late… until the chaos hit. In the end, Beckman completed the comeback and secured the win in one of the craziest, hardest-fought games of the entire state playoff slate!!!
