Good morning from Catania! 🇮🇹 We start with a classic – coffee and cornetto for breakfast… and seriously, it's one of the best breakfasts ever ☕🥐 I'll also show you where we ended up, because it's truly worth a visit. Then we head to the beach – a quick shopping trip to the supermarket along the way and our first taste of everyday life in the city. As is typical in Catania… there's a bit of trash on the beach, but the weather is doing its thing 🌊☀️ so no complaints – I jump into the sea (yes, in February 😅). On the way back, I show you what it's like to get around the city – walking between cars, sidewalks turned into parking lots, and total chaos on the streets. A bit of a shock, a bit of a southern vibe 😄 Later, we head to the city center – souvenirs, a walk, and something to eat. While we're at it, we're looking for a bus stop for our return trip home the next day. We also stumble upon a truly atmospheric street that showcases the prettier side of Catania ✨ But to be honest – I'm also showing you what this city looks like without a filter. There's a lot of trash and contrasts, which are common here.
