New maternity wing to boost maternal healthcare in Kangundo
Residents of Kangundo and its surrounding areas are set to benefit from improved maternal healthcare services following the commissioning of a new maternity wing at Kangundo Level Four Hospital. The facility, established through a partnership between the Machakos County Government and the M-Pesa Foundation, is expected to enhance safe deliveries, strengthen emergency obstetric care, and improve access to quality maternal and newborn health services.
