He's got so many great tunes and this one is no exception. It would always come on the radio and I actually heard it the other day in the store as well! so this is one of those songs that I could easily go down a rabbit hole trying to tab it as exactly perfect as I could and then just end up simplifying it all down, so what I'm doing is tabbing what I easily hear. It's a pretty straightforward song and lots of the tiny or small details that are hard to hear, might not actually be there. I don't want to over complicate it like I have for other tabs. Live, Howie adds some extra flair to it. Feel free to add that flair in yourself if you want to make it a bit more exciting. I also had to change the tuning of the song to make it E Standard. It was close, but Like a lot of other songs it wasn't exactly E standard Howie plays the chorus differently each time it comes up, so I'm keeping it all in the same positioning for consistency, but will follow the notes that are there.    • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Mary Jane'...   0:47 - pick. Howie is moving his wrist much more than he's plucking, but he's using 5s and hase the low open 1:23 - positioning of the chorus, also pbass with pick 2:15 - chorus - 4-7, not 9 7 2:25 - you can see the slide in the 2nd to last bar of the chorus 3:32 - chorus after solo doesn't slide 2nd to last bar of chorus    • Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Mary Jane'...   3:35 - see howie go up to the 10 before the harmonica for the last chorus Thanks for watching!
