DCS CH-47F Chinook DAFCS altitude mode enabled

As part of the DCS major update DCS 2.9.22.17790 a few minor tweaks to the CH-47F Chinook were included, one in particular is actually a big deal and has finally brought us some of the DAFCS functionality we have been waiting for. This is the Altitude hold functionality. To enable this update to work you need to configure your Thrust level in the special menu and add some extra key bindings. I explain how to do this and how I have configured my HOTAS. Then I go onto show which switches have been enabled on the Thrust stick and the new indications. Next we move onto the functionality and how this new mode works, enabling accurate height hold and the ability to beep the altitude up or down, specific uses being in the hover. I'll show you examples, the possibility to desync as our HOTAS doesn't move in conjunction with the beeping' and how we can work with it. My only negative point at the moment is the controls indicator which is really hard to see. Have you tried it yet, what do you think?
