A really basic JFET Hartley oscillator.
Probably a lesson on how NOT to build a VFO! The device fires up and makes RF, but it is extremely vibration sensitive, as demonstrated. I used a J310 jfet instead of the device called out in the schematic. http://w6iee.blogspot.com
