Matala in Crete. A place with a history that still touches many people today. In the 60s and 70s, people from all over the world came here – searching for freedom, community, music, and a different way of life. Today, many still travel to Matala, perhaps with that same longing in their hearts. I spent a few days here, observing the atmosphere, meeting people, and wondering: Is the hippie spirit still alive? This video is not a review or a travel guide. It's simply my personal perception, my thoughts, and my feelings about this special place. Perhaps the spirit doesn't begin in a place.
