Military Symbology Webinar
In support of military operations and planning, the military uses standard map symbols to visualize the battlefield. These symbols represent military units, equipment, and installations, along with tactical graphics to show military operations, boundaries, or other special designations. ArcGIS provides support for the United States Military Standard 2525 for Joint Military Symbology as well as the Allied Procedural Publication 6 from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This session will provide an overview of how military symbology works across the ArcGIS platform. In addition, upcoming changes to the military symbology standard will be discussed.
