The temporary closure has been announced by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) for the observance of special rituals associated with the Snana Yatra. According to the temple administration, devotees will not be allowed to have darshan during this period due to the conduct of special 'Nitikanti' (rituals) ahead of the annual Snana Yatra scheduled for Monday. The restriction has been imposed to facilitate the smooth performance of the sacred rituals. Devotees planning to visit the temple have been advised to take note of the revised darshan schedule.
