Amongst the bells: St James Garlickhythe
Taken during a quarter attempt of Cambridge Surprise Major at St James, Garlickhythe on the 28th December 2024. Sadly unsuccessful within the last course, despite best efforts. The bells are a joy to ring and had forgotten how lovely they are until returning here on Saturday. The Royal Jubilee bells are hung above an intermediate floor where the ropes are drawn. The church is a something of ornateness and beauty; he last time I visited was after a St Paul's Cathedral Christmas mass. For those interested: Phone camera sound - taken from intermediate level.
