Julian Kostov takes us on his winding, oftentimes painful and uneven journey of becoming an internationally accomplished actor. He challenges us to rethink the definition of success and inspires us to write our own story of happiness and meaning. Julian Kostov is a multilingual award-winning Bulgarian actor, filmmaker, founder of 'JupiterLights Media', advocate for Slavic and Balkan representation in the world еntertainment Industry and co-founder of 'Five Oceans' production house with Maria Bakalova. Julian is also a 10-times swimming champion of Bulgaria and part of the National Team, winning a bronze medal from the Balkan Games in 2007. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Cardiff University. Later on he was accepted into the National Youth Theater of Great Britain and then his acting career started. Julian stars in the Netflix record-breaking hit fantasy series 'Shadow and Bone', adapted by Oscar-nominee Eric Heisserer, which was nominated for a People's Choice Award (2021) and was announced by IMDb as the 8th most popular TV-series of 2021. He was critically acclaimed for his performance as POW Bill in the historic war drama 'Another Mother's Son' for which he was long-listed for a BAFTA.
