Catching the football

An instructional video where Coach Polet demonstrates the basics about how to catch a football. Provides some basic progressions for teaching very young players how to catch with their hands and not their bodies. In Manitoba, official footballs are: Terminator (7-8)-- Rubber or Composite ball such as a Voit or Baden #6 Atom and Peewee (9-12)-- Leather or Composite Wilson TDJ or equivalent Minor Bantam and Bantam (13-14)-- Leather or Composite Wilson 2006 or TDV or equivalent.
