With resilience and determination, Mr. Ilyas carved out a path to success, becoming a prominent businessman and a respected figure in Hong Kong’s Pakistani and minority communities. His contributions extend beyond business. Mr. Ilyas has served as the President of the Pakistan Association Hong Kong and played an active role in the Islamic Trustees of Hong Kong. He made history by being the first Pakistani to run for the District Councillor elections in Hong Kong. His achievements also earned him recognition from the Chinese government, which invited him to Beijing to appoint him as the Director of the China Overseas Friendship Association. Today, Mr. Ilyas remains a highly active and influential figure in Hong Kong.
