Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers | AI Symposium 2026 | Plenary Talk
We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers , Chair of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich, to the AI Symposium 2026. An internationally recognized leader at the intersection of mathematics, geometry and machine learning, Prof. Cremers’ work has helped redefine the scientific foundations of intelligent visual systems from 3D reconstruction and visual SLAM to neural scene representations and medical imaging. In his plenary talk, “3D Computer Vision in the Age of Deep Learning,” he explores how recent advances in neural methods are reshaping 3D computer vision transforming it from a geometry-driven discipline into a synthesis of data, learning and mathematical modeling.
