The Montessori School of San Antonio Middle School Program

With fewer students in each class, teachers can create engaging lessons, offer meaningful feedback, and design projects that push learners to think critically and work collaboratively. The setting feels more traditional in structure (class periods, subject blocks), yet the Montessori philosophy still guides everything we do: respect for the learner, hands‑on experiences, and space for student voice and independence. You’ll see students involved in unique, authentic learning experiences: interdisciplinary projects, discussions that connect history and current events, labs and simulations that make science and math tangible, and writing and presentations that ask students to consider multiple perspectives.
