ENTREVISTA: Malala defende liberdade para mulheres

"I always wanted a quality education, to go to a good university." At 20, Malala Yousafzai is about to realize her dream. The activist will soon begin her studies at Oxford. Entering higher education is another victory for the Pakistani woman, who was the victim of an attack orchestrated by terrorists who objected to her and other girls attending school. In 2012, Malala was shot in the head. Targeted because of her activism for women's rights, the young woman survived after receiving treatment in the United Kingdom. Her story spread around the world. Two years after the attack, she received the Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the youngest recipient of the award.
