Crossfit Open Workout 25.2 2nd Attempt
So, this is actually my 2nd Attempt. I did my first at launch yesterday and it wasn't under the best of circumstances. I went to the bar muscle ups and my newer grips did not work well and they're not the ones you add chalk to. So I went back to my old grips today. Just needed to get a score on the board for now. This was my best year back in 2022 and that's my 2nd best open workout to date. So I have high goals for it. I am however much heavier than then since the last 6 months I've focused more on strength. So cardio is definitely noticeable comparatively. Excuses aside this was a lot of lactic acid after doing 2/3rds of this 14 hours earlier. So there's room for improvement. I did Pull-Ups unbroken and then 13-8 on Thrusters. I did 10-8 on the round of 18 for chest to Bar and Thrusters. The goal was 6-5-4 on the bar muscle ups, but that ended up 6-4-3-2. Then it became 6-5-4 on the final bar. For time 21 Pull-Ups, 42 Double Unders, 21 Thrusters 95lb, 18 Chest to Bar, 36 Double Unders, 18 Thrusters 115lb, 15 Bar Muscle Ups, 30 Double Unders, 15 Thrusters 135lb. Time cap 12 minutes, finished 8:57 RX.
