In this video, I talk about what it’s like being blind and my experience with blindness. Sometimes people come from a loving place and try to say loving things when in reality, the best thing you can do is just treat me like a human being and not a strange alien lol. Living with a disability or a disease just makes me different, not worth your praise or sorrow. I know people don’t do this on purpose, and I think they do this because they don’t know how to react to a person with an illness, disability, or disease. The best thing to do is not treat them any differently than you would the other person. Be mean like you would your other friend, don’t treat us with special treatment.
