❣DIY Fairy House Using Glass Bottles❣

Hi, in this video I use some old glass bottles to create a fairy house. I used jars and plastic bottles before and people asked if they can use glass bottles. So here is the creation process. I started of course with gluing the bottles together using hot glue. I then added some pieces of pizza boxes cardboard to make the roofs. That's the basic shape. Next step is of course adding the first layer of paper clay. If you're new here, the clay I usually use is "Das modelling material" because it has dimensional stability when it dries, which means it doesn't shrink like a regular clay so it won't develop cracks around the bottles. I made one glass at a time because I needed to cut out the windows and add some details like stones and some wood beams while the paper clay was still wet. So some details have to be made in this stage and some details like roof tiles and window frames can be added after the clay is dry. Always be patient and work in small sections that you can manage. I used watercolors for painting and worked in layers, painting the base color of each element and adding shades after.
