Blackburn Rovers - 2008-09 Season Review

(58 seconds trimmed from video due to copyright claims in 5 sections) THE 2008/2009 CAMPAIGN PROVIDED A REAL ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS FOR EVERY BLACKBURN ROVERS SUPPORTER. A season that started with Paul Ince in charge, ended with Sam Allardyce at the helm, his steadying hand guiding the Club to Premier League safety. The desire to keep Rovers in the top flight was typified by captain Ryan Nelson, who battled tirelessly and finally grabbed his first goal for the Club; and Stephen Warnock, whose consistent performances were rightfully recognised with his Player of the Year award. And, with the campaign drawing to a close, Tugay called time on his illustrious playing career, leaving us with 8 truly magical seasons of memories, many of which are captured in our special tribute to Ewood's own Turkish Delight. Highs and lows, goodbyes and hellos, the 2008/2009 campaign had it all.
