Las Vegas has always been known for its nightlife, but over the past several years, one thing has quietly changed—the city's hip-hop scene. In this video, I take a look at what happened to some of the Strip's most recognizable hip-hop venues, including Hyde at Bellagio, 1 OAK at The Mirage, LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay, Château Nightclub, Cheri After Dark, and Drai's Rooftop Beach Club & Nightclub. One by one, these venues closed, rebranded, or transformed into something entirely different, leaving far fewer places for hip-hop fans to enjoy on the Las Vegas Strip. But hip-hop isn't completely gone. I also cover where you can still find hip-hop in Las Vegas today, including clubs, lounges, and downtown spots that continue to keep the music alive.
