Whiskey Before Breakfast Part 1 - Fingerpicking Banjo

Here is Part 1 of Whiskey Before Breakfast. Down the Neck. For a long time, Whiskey Before Breakfast was a tune that I didn't like to play at jams. I always felt like the fiddles and mandolins would blaze through it, and I would be stuck playing the same melody over and over just so I could keep up with them. It took a lot of metronome work and a lot of figuring out where and when to add and subtract notes so I could enjoy playing the song again! (And I do enjoy the song now :) So I hope this video shows you how to start simple, get through the tune, and then add more notes. OR stay simple! That's a good way to be too.
