The goal is to improve grip, but above all, to improve the effectiveness of the cultivator, particularly on muddy terrain to prevent sinking, on slopes, and on dry/hard terrain to provide more grip. Joining me in this video is Roberto from CerutiCenter.it, who visited us here at THE LAND FARM on this April Saturday, with 29 degrees Celsius and a sunny summer sky, with a wonderful surprise: a pair of rubber track belts for my BCS 740 Powersafe. We first tested the subsoiler (with a depth of up to 45 cm) with the 5.00-10 wheels and 15 kg weights, which I had previously purchased. We then removed the wheels and installed the pair of tracks. The larger wheels (upgrade from the standard 4.00-10) were certainly a valid solution, thanks to the larger contact surface and extra weight. But with very dry terrain, and with the use of a subsoiler that requires extra power to tow and perform at its full potential, it's immediately noticeable that the tiller suffers from traction, and requires extra energy from the user to move the tiller forward over the ground. My friends, with these tracks (even the entry-level version), the difference in performance and use on the ground is abysmal. With a gripping surface of almost 45 cm in length and 16 cm in width, and a weight of approximately 40 kg per track, the tiller is literally glued to the ground. The 12 horsepower of my Honda GX390 engine is entirely delivered to the ground, and the tiller moves forward with minimal effort (even with just one hand), in an almost perfectly straight line. Even Roberto, with minimal user experience, did an excellent job. We then tested the 80cm BCS Tiller, again on dry soil, with excellent results. My experience: Made in Italy Tracks: Excellent construction and absolute solidity. The belts are made of rubber, with a metal core and cables, which increase their longevity and resistance; Quick and intuitive assembly, with clear instructions (about 1 hour, including wheel removal) Complete set of accessories for proper handling on the ground, easy to install. Advantages of using Tracks on the BCS 740: Up to 3X more contact surface on the ground compared to a pair of wheels (enlarged and with ballast) Guaranteed stability when moving forward, in any terrain. Significant improvement in yield when using high-friction implements (subsoilers, plows, etc.), even at high speed (second and third gear, not possible with wheels). Less fatigue when using the rotary cultivator, even for inexperienced users. Significantly improved maneuverability: both at the end of the field to restart, and also to move the machine around the field (in any condition), full rotation. And when parked, unlike with wheels, with tracks, the rotary cultivator remains autonomously aligned and does not require a front support surface (this prevents fluids from moving around the headland). Operating independently of each other, they perfectly follow the contours of the terrain, and since both are always on the ground, the machine is more stable and therefore increases operator safety. The track set consists of: track pair, hubs, and stabilizer bars. It also comes with certification and a user and maintenance manual. Installing the track set is quick and easy, thanks also to the many photos in the manual showing the various steps. If you'd like to see more uses for the tracks on the BCS 740, subscribe to my channel: more videos will follow, where I'll be using other tools (e.g., plow, flail mower, cutter bar, etc.). 🔥 FARM open and that means only one thing: now you can bring my products to your table... how can I do it? 🟢 1: Contact me via my company number 351 3131631 🌱my INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/andreabekk_?igs... 👍SUBSCRIBE to my channel: https://bit.ly/2CxMMH Here you can find all my videos: https://bit.ly/3jbnOh3 😉 Email for Collaborations: [email protected] #tracks #motorcultivatortracks #andreabekk
