6 Errores De Principiantes Comunes en Boxeo
In this video, I'm going to show you the 6 common mistakes beginners make when training boxing. Don't miss number 6 because it's the most common of all, and correcting these mistakes will improve your boxing technique. The first common mistake I see is lowering your non-punching hand. You should always keep your non-punching hand covering your face, no matter what punch you're throwing. The second common mistake is keeping your chin too high. Your chin should be down because if you keep it exposed, there's a good chance you'll get hit hard and sustain unnecessary damage. The third common mistake is not turning your hips to transfer your weight into your punches. I often see boxers throwing arm punches. To maximize your power with punches, you have to turn your hips, especially in the cross, and the hook is where you should transfer your weight, so keep practicing that movement. The fourth common mistake is crossing your feet when moving forward, backward, and from side to side. When you move to the right, you should start with your right foot first, the same thing when you move to the left. I often see fighters moving to the right with their left foot first instead of their right. Avoid this mistake because it will leave you off balance and you won't be able to throw any punches. Common mistake number five is stepping forward with your foot flat (or heel-toe, heel-toe). When you're moving forward and back, you need to be on your toes because that's how you can throw combinations and defend no matter what stance you're in. Common mistake number six, the biggest mistake I see beginners and even long-time fighters make, is breathing. When it comes to boxing, it's very common for fighters to hold their breath. Holding your breath while you punch will waste a lot of energy, and you won't be able to add speed or power to your punches because you're so tense. To maximize speed and power, you need to relax and exhale with each punch. 10% OFF all my favorite sports supplements! https://WWW.ONNIT.COM/BOXING SANABUL GLOVES - Use code TONY10 and get 10% off https://sanabul.us/3FnfYxf More boxing videos: 3 Realistic Combinations You Should Practice! • 3 Combinaciones realistas que deberías pra...
