Is COTTONWOOD Trail a MUST RIDE in Salida? | SALIDA, CO

The next stop on The Calirado Kid's Grand Return to Colorado is in Salida! I've heard great things about the trails out there so thought I'd give it a go. What I DIDN'T know what just how much damned climbing would be involved. DAMNIT! It was seriously punishing. It made me very sweaty and I honestly just want you to feel bad for me here. I ended up climbing all the way up to ride Rhumba & Cottonwood. Solid trails. But definitely not as fun as the trails I rode in Buena Vista. Maybe I'm just falling in love with tech too much!
