Kevin Sloan gives Keynote Lecture at HKS Green Week

On May 9, 2017, Kevin Sloan ASLA, Honorary AIA, and founder of Kevin Sloan Studio, delivered a keynote lecture at HKS annual Green Week symposium, about an urban concept to use the entire watershed network in DFW as an attraction to form urban density with nature. The lecture about the DFW Branch Waters Network, shared the challenges confronting mega cities and how a cultural affinity for nature can and may be all that’s needed to re-structure the diffuse and endless pattern of the Metroplex over time. In recent years, national and international design journals have acclaimed the Branch Waters concept and the almost documentary evidence for how it is already forming.
