2026 Ginetta G56 GT2 in action at Monza Circuit: Centrifugal Supercharged 6.3 V8 Sound!

This video is about the G56 GT2, Ginetta's new race car built and developed in order to be raced in SRO’s GT2 class (and the related championship, the GT2 Euroepan Series), born in 2020 with the aim to reduce aero and increases power over the GT3 class, making cars more accessible for drivers with less experience. The G56 GT2 is no track-modified road car, but a purposefully designed and built racing machine, developed starting from their G56 GTX version. Under the hood there's a Ginetta-manufacturer 6.3-litre Chevy LS3 V8 fitted with a Paxton NOVI centrifugal supercharged and a FAST LSXR intake manifold. It also benefits from upgrades including a billet aluminium block and billet dry sump, both also machined in-house by Ginetta engineers. The engine of the GT2 is capable of up to 800 bhp (pre-Balance of Performance adjustment). Full carbon fibre bodywork assists in keeping the GT2’s target weight down to just 1,250kg (subject to BOP).
