Paris Olympic Build: Go It Alone (Episode 9)
Gearing up for the Boston 10k this weekend! My workouts this week were shorter than usual for a marathon build. Deceptively difficult. Finding that turnover I need. We've reached a new parenting milestone: my 5 year old can now keep up with me on her bike. So fun to have the girls at the track to cheer me on. Ended the week in rainy Boston! I've been here a lot of times, but this will be my first time competing here. Excited to send it! In October 2023, I ran 2:08:00 at the Chicago marathon. Then, at the US Olympic Trials marathon in February 2024, I placed second and qualified for Team USA. I will be racing the Olympic marathon at the Olympic games this summer in Paris. Join me during this training block as I prepare mentally and physically to compete on the biggest stage.
