OS 160 FX. Rebuild After Suspected Glowplug Failure Damage

This beautiful engine was flown on a Stik. It was mounted upright and it took off from a green grass runway. It was flying along perfectly when the engine suddenly just stopped. After landing and inspection of the engine, it was obvious that there was something serious wrong. I got the engine for repair and found the damage as can be seen on the video. I found that he used one of the fake OS glow plugs and it threw the coil which I suspect caused the damage. I replaced the damaged parts and the bearings and it runs perfectly again. I inspected the rest of the engine and the bearings and could not find anything that could be responsible for the damage.
