A brief description of our SRI KAMAKSHI DEVI CHARITABLE TRUST. Destiny rules one’s life. While the life for some is a bed of roses, for some it is a bed of thorns. Natural calamities like floods, earthquakes or man-made disasters throw the kids from out of the hands of their parents making them orphans- homeless, helpless and forlorn. May it be Latur-earth quake, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Divi seema cyclone of 1977 or Godavari Floods of 1986 or hurricane of 1996 in Godavari Districts. Such events leave the unfortunate infants as orphans who look at the society with the fond hope that some affectionate hand takes them into its fold, nourish them and stand beside them. If their aspirations fail, they fall prey into the hands of anti-social and anti-national elements and they in turn become anti-social and anti-national causing severe agony and damage to the society in the years to come. This humane problem deserves the attention of the Government and the public. Recognizing the magnitude of this social problem ‘Kamakshi Devi Trust (Regd.No 119/85) started “ Kamakshi Prema Mandiram” in 1986 to undertake the responsibility of nourishing and taking care of those unfortunate children irrespective of their caste, creed, region or religion, who lost their parents in natural calamities like cyclones, floods, earth-quakes and also in man-made calamities. For Promoting education of children 1. For Providing Medical aid 2. For Provision of Daily Food for children 3. For Meeting expenses of Marriages at their right age and for Deliveries 4. For Maintaing Gosala with Gograsam Donars are invited to donate liberally to any one of these Corpus Funds or for all of them
