Toome fair is the important celebration in Toomebridge,a small village in Northern Ireland UK.It started more than a hundred years ago, people come from all over the Ireland and Northern Ireland for a fun day after lent,and trading any thing but the important of all is trade of horses.In the past it was the only opportunity for the women and children for a day out for entertainment,but even in modern days it continuing to be important in Irish peoples lives.It is mainly intended for the trade of horses but a lot of entertainments are available for children and people of all ages.Hundreds of shops selling food to house hold appliances and other goods will gather to utilise this great opportunity for just a day,which attract thousands of families across Ireland.
