We also have footage of the approach to the shrine at night, so please watch until the end. 撮影日：2026年5月14日 Date of photo: May 14, 2026 駐車場無料 拝観料無料 ウィキペディアより 出雲大社の歴史 出雲大社はいわゆる神話における国譲りの事情のもとで創建された神社である[2]。867年（貞観9年）には正二位に叙せられ熊野大社とは別に出雲国一宮と称せられるようになった[2]。中世には12郷7浦を領したが、豊臣秀吉により減じられ5郷2浦となった[2]。社殿の造営は慶長14年（1609年）に豊臣秀頼により、寛文7年（1667年）には将軍徳川家綱によって行われ、現在の社殿は延享元年（1744年）の造営によるものである[14]。1871年（明治4年）に官幣大社に列格の後、大正時代に勅祭社となった。 From Wikipedia: History of Izumo Taisha Shrine Izumo Taisha is a shrine founded under the circumstances of the so-called myth of the transfer of the land.[2] In 867 (Jōgan 9), it was granted the rank of Senior Second Rank and came to be known as the Ichinomiya (first shrine) of Izumo Province, separate from Kumano Taisha.[2] In the Middle Ages, it ruled over 12 villages and 7 bays, but this was reduced to 5 villages and 2 bays by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.[2] The shrine buildings were constructed in 1609 (Keichō 14) by Toyotomi Hideyori and again in 1667 (Kanbun 7) by Shogun Tokugawa Ietsuna, with the current buildings dating back to 1744 (Enkyō 1).[14] In 1871 (Meiji 4), it was ranked as a Kanpei Taisha (Grand Imperial Shrine), and later became an Chokusaisha (Imperial Shrine) during the Taisho era.
