Papercraft Ship Maker　ペーパークラフト船造り

I interviewed Mamoru Shibata, a man with an amazing talent of making model ships out of paper. My hope is that through this video more and more people will know about Mr. Shibata's contribution to the art world, and to history. He started making paper craft ships after he visited a museum of private ships that were sunk in WWII. After he built his first model, Kokuryu-maru, he has spent five hours everyday making ships. Mr. Shibata said, "I don't like to make any ships which would or might generate tragedy".
