I arrived in Cebu, Philippines, and within the first hour inside the Grab I realized that this country has more in common with Angola than anyone could imagine. The traffic, the people, the energy of the streets—all of this made me feel something unexpected right from the start. In this video I show what it's like to travel to the Philippines with an Angolan passport: the arrival process, how Grab (the Uber of the Philippines) works, and what I discovered about Filipino culture on my first day in Cebu.
