If we only went out to photograph the landscape when it was perfect weather we wouldn't get out very often, especially if you live on the west of Scotland, or somewhere else inclement. Equally, if we only felt good about our photography when we are experiencing perfect light on dramatic landscapes, our happiness is compromised. In this week's video I head out on a typically gloomy winter's day here on the west coast of Scotland. I take with me a good attitude and various equipment and techniques and make some images filled with colour, light, contrast and engagement. I got home feeling joyful, energised and very happy with the photographs I made. Pack a good attitude when you head out into the landscape, you'll be happier for it, and far more creative.
