End of July Minnow Trapping
Follow along as we check a couple of beaver ponds for bait fish. It is the end of July and the water is very warm, Kasey and I catch some nice common dace for Beamish baits. With the warm water we hang some of are traps just below the surface and use a minnow grader to practice sustainable bait fish trapping. Are goal is to catch nice bait fish using a sustainable method. Beaver ponds are in my opinion one of the most valuable resources in the boreal forest.
