Cans of Tomato Puree 3 - 28 oz. Cans of Tomato Sauce 1 - 12 oz. can of Tomato Paste Fresh basil 2 cloves of garlic 1 lb. of Hot Italian Sausage 1 lb. of pork lion country style ribs Bottom round roast Spray the bottom of a large sauce pot. Add Extra Virgin Olive Oil, add meat and garlic cloves in the pan and cook 20 to 25 min. Take the meat out of the pot and set aside. Add all of the cans of tomatoes, then season on top with pepper, crushed basil, parsley, garlic powder, salt & romano cheese. Add meat and cook for 2 - 3 hours. Spiced Holiday Nuts - 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. of kosher salt 1 tsp. ancho chili powder 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 large egg white, at room temperature 1 TB. water 1 pound of raw mixed nuts ( cashews, pecans and walnuts) Preheat over to 300. Stir together the 1st six ingredients. Whisk together egg white and water until frothy but not stiff. Lightly grease a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Spread the mixture in a single layer on the parchment paper. Bake at 300 for 45 min. stirring every 8 min. Remove from the over and let cool for an hour. Cover the baking sheet with saltine crackers. Melt butter in a saucepan, then add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Cook for 3 min. Pour over crackers and spread. Bake for 8 min in a 350 over. Then add chocolate chips, let melt then spread over crackers . Add chopped pecans then put in the freezer for an hour. Once you take it out of the freezer, break into pieces and store in a air tight container. Citrus-Marinated Feta and Olives - 1/4 cup of chopped basil 1/4 cup of olive oil 1 TB. orange zest 1 tsp. ground pepper 1 garlic clove minced 1 cup of pitted kalamata olives 1 cup pimiento-stuffed Spanish olives 1 8oz block of feta cheese Whisk together first 5 ingredients into a medium sized glass bowl, stir in olive and cheese.
