Gallipoli Day 2 Breakthrough Wargame

Today on Little Wars TV, we fight an unexpected follow up to our 12-player Gallipoli wargame. After an unclear conclusion to Day 1 of the landings, we felt compelled to push on and seek a decisive action. With new overnight orders from our overall commanders, retired Lt. General Rhys Jones of New Zealand and Armchair Historian Griffin Johnsen, the armies are on a collision course along the eastern coast of the Gallipoli peninsula. Can the allies complete a breakthrough and realize Winston Churchill's dream of knocking the Ottoman Empire out of the war? As in our first day of battle, the tabletop rules seen in today's game are 1914 by Great Escape Games. The miniatures are 6mm scale Baccus figures, hand painted by members of our club. We want to thank our guest commanders, General Jones and Griffen Johnsen, for joining us for this anniversary event. To learn more about the Gallipoli campaign, we strongly encourage you to check out the brilliantly animated videos on the @TheArmchairHistorian channel.
