Her routine was to take her two daughters to their school in a neighbouring village just a few miles away from Inskip and then to go and walk the dog nearby. She had no idea that she was about to be the centre of a media frenzy. This tiny village with only a few hundred inhabitants is named St Michael’s on Wyre, located in Lancashire. Generally speaking, there’s not an awful lot going on in this village, it’s a very quiet and peaceful place. It’s one of those small settlements where everyone knows one another and the community is considered to be very tightly knit.
