Sonic Mania Plus - Encore Mode Good Ending speedrun in 41:34

What is Encore Mode? Encore Mode is a DLC mode in Sonic Mania Plus that is essentially the main game but with a new twist. Level layouts are slightly altered and you can add characters to your line-up and swap with them on the fly. In the speedrun, you mainly use Ray and Tails, as they complement each other very well. Tails is great for vertical movement with fly and Ray has fantastic horizontal movement with his flight. Sonic and Knuckles gets minor uses. Mighty is actually useless in this run so he's never used. Encore also introduces unique glitches that aren't doable in the Mania Mode, such as Partner clipping through ceilings and triggering a death glitch that removes your collision that can allow you level wrap stages (As seen in Studio 1 and Metallic 2). What is Good Ending? Good Ending is collecting all 7 Chaos Emeralds and finishing the game. This run could be improved to like a 40:xx, but this run is probably one of the most difficult to optimize in comparison to other Mania categories. This time is perfectly okay with me, as I got some pretty beefy skips 1st try, as well as getting all 7 Encore Special Stages without utilizing Mach 3 which is very hard to do.
