Today's the Day AMV - Anime Mix

Another P!nk video. I do make a lot of videos with her songs, she's been my favorite pop artist for over 10 years (ok, saying things like that makes me feel a little old..). Also I think her songs work well with my editing style and the kinds of characters I like to use for the AMVs. So basically this is a fun, upbeat video about having fun with friends. Enjoy!~ Also, you can check out a few of my other P!nk AMVs here: One Last Kiss -    • Blow Me One Last Kiss AMV Anime Mix   Try-    • Get Up & Try AMV - P!nk - Anime Mix   Now that I think of it, I didn't plan this, but these three videos/songs work as a series. One Last Kiss is about being angry about having things end with a partner, Try is about being sad yet determined to get past it, and Today's the Day is being over your past and having fun and being yourself. These 3 AMVs also have several (but not all) characters in common between them - Saya, Ange, Elie, Utena, MSYU appear in all 3, while other characters come and go. _editing notes__ When I was first thinking about picking what series to use for this video, I was only thinking of 6, but since the song divided better into eighths than sixths, I added [C] and Yurikuma for a total of 8 series. Also originally some of the verse parts were switched around (Ange was going to be where Asuka is now, Utena was going to be where Ange is now, and Asuka was where Utena is now), but I think the current arrangement matches each character with their lyrics pretty well. And that cross-over scene in the middle of the video where the various characters are partying, running, and eating together took a while, and even then it's not perfect xD I may try to make more edits like that for other videos in the future. It's kind of a fun challenge to try to match things up...and it makes you realize how common things like fireworks on a beach and going to the aquarium are in anime!
