Shahrzad Belly Dance Practice

However, the one thing that I always include, usually at the end of a practice session, is improvising a dance at full energy to a song or a few songs. If I am working on new technique I try to work the new steps into my dance to start experimenting with how it might fit with both the music and the flow of the other steps I use. Its not always pretty and perfect but it important to push yourself to keep dancing. It makes your musicality and technique better for sure but it also helps you to be more relaxed with continuously dancing so you can look more comfortable when you perform.
