Cambodia, in particular, struggles with the lack of systematic waste separation and recycling facilities. This, combined with inadequate public infrastructure and indiscriminate use and disposal practices, has resulted in a worsening waste crisis over time. Nevertheless, there is one school called “Coconut School” that takes an integrated approach to address waste issues, environmental concerns, and education at the same time.
