First Day of My First Week of Rivers, Tuckasegee River (Tuck Gorge) 800CFS 6/27/26

I was luckily able to make it to the Carolina Canoe Clubs Week of Rivers this year and we decided to start it off with a Tuck Gorge run to ease our way into the harder stuff. It was a super fun run and a great place to take out my full slice with small waves and holes all over to play in. I also got a movie history lesson that the train on river right was used in the derailment scene from "Fugitive" which was really cool to see. Class: 2-3 Boat: Perception AMP Location: Dillsboro, NC
