Bill Holman Band: Charts for Kenton and Holman Songbook - October 2007

This video contains two concerts performed by the Bill Holman Band on October 5, 2007 as part of the Los Angeles Jazz Institute's Big Band Showcase festival held at the LAX Four Points Sheraton Hotel. The first concert presents some of Bill Holman's arrangements which he wrote for Stan Kenton's Band in the 1950's and the second covers some of the arrangements he wrote for other bands in the 50's and 60's. (Sorry, the second concert video is not complete, probably due to video tape run-out.)
