I Love Deluxe Editions... That's The Problem

For years, deluxe editions have been the dream release for manga collectors. Bigger trim sizes, hardcover bindings, premium paper, and beautiful shelf presence. Trust me, I love them! But lately I've started to wonder if we're creating a new problem. As more and more series are released, revived, or reprinted exclusively in deluxe editions, what happens to the collectors who prefer singles, paperbacks, or simply more affordable options? Are we accidentally losing format diversity in the process? From Phoenix and Gantz to Slam Dunk and Pokémon Adventures, this has become one of the most interesting shifts in modern manga collecting. And as someone who would happily replace most paperbacks with hardcovers, I think it's a discussion worth having. So now I want to hear from you: Are deluxe editions making manga collecting better, or are we slowly losing something important along the way? 📌 Catch me on Facebook:   / daidariusgames   📌 Subscribe for more Daidarius videos: https://www.youtube.com/c/Daidarius?s... #mangacollection #mangadiscussion #deluxeedition
